While sitting at work one summer afternoon, a lady was notified over the phone by a relative that her father had passed away that morning by a massive heart attack and she must take a flight home that evening. Leaving work in a daze, she headed for Tallahassee Mall to purchase some shoes to wear at the funeral. The manager of the shoe store, realizing her emotional state, helped her come to grips with reality and then not only gave her the shoes she wanted, but also threw in quite a few extras, all free of charge. It's comforting to know that sometimes a total stranger offers an unforgettable gesture of kindness!
