Three years ago, my car blew out a water pump during a snowstorm the week before Thanksgiving on a interstate highway in the middle of nowhere. (I had no money with me) I was saved by random acts of kindness of six different "good Samaratians" over six hours. From the man who picked me up to the store owner who let me borrow her telephone, to the towtruck driver to the auto mechanics who worked well beyond quitting time.
