Flowers
My
story is probably like many others. I was running to the store to get some
medicine for my son who was sick. I decided to pick 'Just because I love
you' feeling. I was waiting in line at Wal-Mart in the express lane and
it was taking forever. I like many others were getting frustrated. when
it got to be my turn I saw this obviously overworked and underpaid woman
who was doing the best she could and who looked close to the end of her
endurance dealing with the human race.
So
as I was about to leave I took the flowers from the bag and turned back
around and handed them to her. The look of utter amazement that came over
her face was something that I will never forget. I didn't stick around to
hear a thank you because none was needed! I hope others will do the same
for someone else.
