Kindness is Contagious

The
other day when I approached the the cashier at a distant gas station far
from home to pay for my gas, standing in the long line waiting. I heard
her supervisor say, it's time for your lunch break. I heard her say 'I pass
on lunch today, I forgot my lunch at home.' After I paid my bill, I went
across to the local Burger King and bought a large order of chicken tenders
and a large drink. Returning back to the gas station, I bought a pack of
cigarette's for myself, and then I handed her the dinner saying one must
eat. The smile on her face, the astonishment in her voice. She said there
still good people out there too.
Later
that day I saw her return the kindness as she paid for some candy for a
child who didn't have enough money. She said to him, kindness is contagious.
